Butter melts at 36.6 is a reflection on intimacy in a world that seems constantly connected, yet offers little space for genuine contact. In an age of continuous visibility and digital exchange, authentic moments of emotional presence have become increasingly rare. Set within domestic interiors, the project focuses on quiet encounters—shared silences, lingering gazes, subtle gestures—through which relationships unfold slowly and without spectacle. Each meeting is based on reciprocity: participants are invited to photograph the artist in return, shifting the established roles of subject and observer. The work asks what it truly means to meet another person today—and whether intimacy can still exist beyond performance and superficial connection.
